I am a University of Waterloo alumni working as a Software Engineer in the beautiful City of Vancouver. I majored in Biochemistry with a minor in Computer Science.
My journey from the scientic world to a software one started when I was working part time as a research assistant for a microbiology research lab where I had the opportunity to apply some of my programming skill to write python scripts for data analysis. It was the tipping point that lead me to dive in full time in the Computer Science world. My favorite field of interest of the latter has to be distributed systems and networkings.
What facinates me the most about web development is that it allows anyone to transform any of their crazy and creative idea to reality and then share it instantly to anyone, anywhere, providing an interactive, impactful and fun experience.
